Reece Pyrtle is a lifelong resident of Rockingham County, where he served as Chief of Police for the City of Eden until his retirement in 2018. Representative Pyrtle has served in the North Carolina General Assembly since 2020. Prior to assuming state office, he was twice elected as a Commissioner for Rockingham County. While in office, he has been an advocate for defending the 2nd Amendment, upholding Voter ID laws, safeguarding parental rights, and making our state the best place to live, work, and raise a family.
